Florida state wildflower. Native, endemic perennial herbaceous
wildflower. 1-3 feet tall with an equal spread.
Leaves are opposite, simple, 2-4 inches long, lobed. There are seven
species of Florida native Coreopsis.
Flower - A variety of
colors - yellow, red, pink, purple, orange, 11/2 to 2 inches wide.
Ray florets with dentate tips surrounding a small central disk.
